SEU/Bayside students receive career training in their chosen area of ministry or business to develop the skills needed to become a world changing leader.

In Directed Study, students are paired with a local ministry or business leader in the area of their degree.

In the first-year students will shadow their leader, learning the responsibilities of their career choice while beginning to develop skills. In the second year, students will be required to develop more specialized skills related to their career choice. In the third year, students will enter an unpaid internship.

The student will work to show proficiency in the skills necessary to enter a paid career. After satisfactory completion of the Directed Study and Internship, students will be equipped with experience to go along with their degree. This will give students an advantage in paid career opportunities after graduation.
