Weekend events are designed to build community in a fun and authentic way.
Students will have an opportunity to engage in challenging events, team building activities, and relationally centered community. Each weekend will be intentional to help push students further than they ever imagined, while providing leadership and mentorship for students to dig deeper than they ever thought possible. We encourage you to take a step out of your comfort zone and be a part of the adventure.
SEU Bayside’s chapel services are the catalyst for spiritual formation on our campus.
Our chapel services will provide students with live worship and relevant teaching. SEU students come together to encounter God through challenging messages, powerful worship and an atmosphere designed to help them grow spiritually. Not only do the students attend chapel, but they are heavily involved in participating and planning the chapel experience. These opportunities give students hands-on training as they become leaders for their future ministries.
At SEU Bayside, students participate in weekly small groups to build community and grow spiritually.
Each week, students will discuss relevant topics that will strengthen their faith, encourage their walk with God, and provide resources to help them follow Jesus in the real world. At SEU Bayside, we believe that life change and leadership development begin in the context of relationships. Since sharing life through community is part of our Bayside DNA, we offer small groups to all day students at SEU Bayside. Living as believers in this world, students will face difficult challenges and decisions. We believe that our small groups will provide a space for students to work through these difficult situations. Throughout …
Students have the option to participate in Team Sports ranging from kickball to ultimate frisbee.
Character Formation will be something to look forward to every week! Character Formation will be hosted every week at our East Bradenton Campus. This is a great opportunity for our students to receive training in team building, team camaraderie through athletics and sport. Not only will this be a fun experience, but it will also train our students on the importance of teamwork and physical activity.
Community outreach will empower you to walk the streets of our city and share the love that you have been given.

Join us in traveling around the world, encountering various cultures, and spreading the love of Jesus.
Each year students can participate in a weeklong mission trip. We believe that as Christians we are called to spread the Gospel beyond the borders of our community. Jesus says in Matthew 28:18-20 “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Students will be able to take the training they learn throughout the school year and apply it as they are sent out. This will be an incredible opportunity to serve …
